These 3.5inch lever extensions extend the shift knob position for a rally car style, drift style, rat-rod-esque look. They are functional in that they do provide more leverage, thus easier shifting and the shifter is closer to the wheel which can truly speed up hand reaction times from wheel to shifter. Personal Preference
Personally I love this piece but it is definitely a piece that is up to your preferences. I like that it puts the shifter closer to the steering wheel but the throw feels a lot longer at first. After you get used to it though you won't even think about it.
