aFe Takeda Intake Momentum Pro 5R & Dry S for 2016 Honda Civic 1.5L
The aFe Takeda intake system for the 10th Gen Honda Civic 1.5L Turbo models (except si). This intake system is built for all the 1.5L Civics, adding 13hp and 13lb/ft of tq according to aFe, thats a hefty gain to be had from an Intake system. The system is very well thought out and takes on an icebox approach with a front area to focus on pulling cool air from the front of the vehicle. The momentum system encloses the filter and uses a much larger box and filter for 33% enhanced air flow over stock. This allows more oxygen in so the vehicle can add in extra fuel and cause more power output. The system is also smart that the enclosure helps protect from heat and water and your at a very low risk of sucking in water since its pullling from a high point and away from the fender or even being outside of the vehicle in any way. But the system still draws cool air, at higher speeds it could also cause some ram air effect.

Pro 5R VS Dry S, the 5R is oiled, the Dry S is oilless. Thats the only difference.
Unique One-Piece High Quality Housing W/ Sight Window:
A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box. The roto-molded housing is made out of black cross-linked polyethylene. (US PAT 9440175)
High Quality Tube:
This system uses a high quality plastic CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.
Large 5-Layer Performance Air Filter:
This intake system utilizes a pre-oiled, large, 7-1/2" tall conical inverted top 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance.

All clamps and hardware are included for hassle-free installation. This is a direct bolt-on kit that requires no cutting or drilling on factory parts.
