The Skunk2 72mm Electronic Throttle Body for the 06-11 Honda Civic Si is one of the easiest and most effective ways to wake up your K20Z3 and get it breathing the way it should. The factory throttle body on these cars is only 64mm, and it chokes the engine right when you need airflow the most. Skunk2 opened that up to a precision honed 72mm bore, CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, so the engine can actually pull in the air it wants under load. This is a true electronic throttle body built specifically for the 06-11 Si, not a bored out OEM unit. Because the bore is bigger than stock, your factory intake tube will not clamp onto it anymore. This is a good thing. It means the throttle body is finally big enough to be the bottleneck-free part of the equation, but you do need to run it with an aftermarket intake that can actually feed it. It pairs great with the Hybrid Racing Cold Air Intake for the 06-11 Civic Si, which already comes with the velocity stack and coupler setup to match a larger throttle body like this one and is one of the best flowing intakes available for this chassis. Running the 72mm throttle body with a larger diameter intake is how you actually unlock the airflow gain instead of leaving power on the table.

Because this throttle body flows more air than stock, your ECU needs to be tuned to actually use it correctly. Running it without a tune is not something we recommend.
