Easy Install, Sounds Good, Quick...
I received the product from Hard Motion pretty quickly which was awesome. Install was relatively straight forward though the included instructions could have had a bit more detail. Also, the included coolant hose is quite a bit larger than the stock coolant hose you are asked to replace. You are also in theory supposed to use the factor hose clips with the included coolant hose, but I could not get them to fit (clips were too small). I ended up buying a few hose clamps instead of using the factory clips. They seem to work much better anyway. After install I haven't had any error codes or anything that some seem to encounter. However, I have a slightly modified Hondata map flashed on my Civic (it's just their standard performance tune) so I'm not sure if I'd have issues if I just had the stock tune. aFe states a tune is not required. I think eventually a pro tune will help the intake perform better as well.

So far so good
The installation was pretty straightforward but the fitment seemed a little iffy at first. However, after some adjustments everything seems to be fitting perfectly now. As far as power delivery, I feel the most difference at low rpms, where I’m struggling for traction in some instances and above 3.5k rpm where I feel more top end pull. If I’m making a straight pull I feel the rpms climb much faster than with the stock air box. I don’t know about flow restriction during stop and go traffic or heat soak. I got this to avoid heat soak being self contained like the stock air box. This uses the factory cold air ducting as well.

Love it!
I purchased this Cold air intake and I love it, it gives my fg4 a deeper sound once it gets to about 3500 RPM I love how easy it was to install as well
