Which can help increase shifting speed as well more resembles how a sports car is setup vs the wider spacing. Not only does that occur but replacing the plastic part with solid smooth movement metal. You will get an overall more rigid and sporty feel from the shifting efforts all together. The spacing is decreased by 17% which is enough to notice. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum this piece is not only strong but lightweight. The joint design also incorporates a much better fluid motion that makes it feel smoother as well. All in all quite a lot of difference from such a small little package.
