Built for higher-power 2017–2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) applications, the 89mm Race Formula Intake provides additional MAF sensor range for modified and big-turbo setups.

• 89mm Race MAF housing for higher-power builds
• Hondata FlashPro is required. The tune must apply the correct matching calibration for the 89mm MAF housing.

Choosing the 89mm Race

This version is intended for builds that need more MAF sensor range now or have a clear path toward a larger turbo and increased airflow. Around 400 wheel horsepower, have your tuner monitor MAF voltage and use the datalog—not the power number alone—to determine the correct housing.

On Hybrid Racing’s 433.5-wheel-horsepower FK8, the 76mm signal reached 4.96 volts near the top of the pull, while the 89mm Race housing kept the same factory Honda MAF sensor within its measurement range.

Fits all 2017–2021 Honda Civic Type R FK8 models, including the 2021 Limited Edition. Reuses the factory Honda MAF sensor, mounting points, intake seal, and rubber grommets.
