Skunk2 06-11 Civic Si Cold Air Intake

The Skunk2 Cold Air Intake system for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si is a beautifully designed intake system that was built and tested on skunk2's partnership with compass360 racing team. These intakes are built to draw cold air from the front fender of the car, where the air will be coolest. The colder air, is denser and more oxygen rich, resulting in better horsepower. The results overall power gains from top to bottom of the rpm range. The system as a whole reworks how the stock intake pathway was setup and by using moving certain parts around the pathway is able to get to the fender as efficiently as possible. The intake starts off with a large high flow air filter, which moves into the main 3.5 inch intake pathway then smoothly tapers back to the throttle body, where a coupler connects the system and finishes it off very smoothly to help proper power production and smooth air flow.

The filter is also setup to face downward which helps keep the water away and with it hidden behind the fender liner, should prove to be a safe and reliable way to keep the filter away from water.
