aFe Twisted Steel Down-Pipe w/ Cat (Street) 16-17 Honda Civic 1.5L Turbo

The aFe Twisted Steel catted downpipe for the 2016-2019 Honda Civic 1.5L Turbo Models. This includes all Civic Si Models and Non-Civic Si Models, as long as you have the 1.5L Turbo. This downpipe / header comes with a high flow cat, which is a 400cpsi converter, which means it has 400 cells per square inch. The piping is mandrel bent, which is what manufacturers use for smooth bends. This helps increase horsepower and torque. Due the proper sizing, bends and higher flower cat. The afe twisted steel pulls in 14 horsepower and 27lbs of torque! (manufacturer claim).

HARDmotion Notes: Why choose a catted downpipe? Most users do this due to smog checks in their state, overall environmental responsibility and another fact is some like the slightly smoother sound and the reduced smell of raw gas and exhaust while at a light. Which you can tell a difference. This however does come with a slight drop in power and in much higher boost applications or bigger turbos a cat can sometimes burn out or clog causing issues, where someone may want to just stick with a non-cat or race version downpipe.
