The skunk2 stage 1 tuner series camshaft is a camshaft that provides great power with little drawbacks. These camshafts provide a stock idle and good emissions, while giving you gains in horsepower and torque in mildly modified engines. Skunk2 has put tons of hours into R&D on these camshafts and has tested and designed these with high-tech computer simulations and modeling equipment. All of the camshafts are tested in house to ensure quality and performance. Each camshaft is manufactured from high strength, hollow iron-alloy cores utilizing profiles that focus on an idle and low emissions. All ground to high tolerance specs using industry leading CNC cam grinding machines equipped with cubic boron grinding wheels and feature hardened, wear-resistant lobes and surfaces. Fast Ramp and Amax profile technology is employed to allow great performance from idle to redline all while utilizing the maximum amount of valvetrain while still preserving stability and reliability.|
